Camping Le Maior is located in the town of Brenzone sul Garda in the province of Verona on the northeastern shore of Lake Garda.
The municipality of Brenzone, by extension among the largest municipalities on Lake Garda, consists of several hamlets located some on the lakeshore (Assenza, Porto, Magugnano, Marniga, and Castelletto), others at the foot of Mount Baldo (Castello, Sommavilla), and still others in the mountains (Prada).
Located at the point where the lake is deepest (346m), just south of Malcesine and in the center of the Riviera degli Olivi (which still produces one of the finest extra-virgin olive oils in Italy), Brenzone is characteristic for its mild and temperate climate, the richness and diversity of its landscape, and the beauty and tranquility of its beaches.
A sought-after destination for fans of the sport of sailing, surfing, and kitesurfing, the town of Brenzone also offers a network of trails and paths that climb from the lake to the summit of Mount Baldo. So does the gondola-chairlift that leads from Prada (1,200m) to the Fiori del Baldo refuge (1,810m).
The municipality has sailing, surfing and kitesurfing schools, sail and motor boat rentals, mountain bike rentals, tennis and beach volleyball courts.
The boat that crosses the lake docks at several towns in the municipality and provides, at least 2 times a day, an excellent opportunity to enjoy the unforgettable view of the garda basin from one of its most picturesque vantage points: the center of the lake.
Hourly scheduled bus service throughout the day ensures locomotion between the villages and markets on the bank without the need to use your own car.
The municipality of Brenzone preserves many medieval churches and is rich in history, traditions, religious events (Via Crucis in Castelletto) and summer (from early July) and autumn (from the beginning of olive pressing in November) folk festivals.
Excellent restaurants ensure typical and/or lake character tastings all year round.
